My approach

A little help.
A way forward.

You don’t need to know exactly what your website needs before you get in touch. We can start with what’s bothering you and figure out the next step together.

Here’s how it works

From stuck to started

Four steps, taken together.

A conversation first. A plan when you’re ready.

  1. Start wherever you are

    Step 1: You reach out

A page that looks wrong on your phone. A task you keep doing by hand. An idea you haven’t quite figured out. Tell me what’s happening and what you’d like to change.

Send me your website and any context you have. A screenshot can help, but you don’t need a technical explanation or a finished brief.

“Something isn’t working, but I’m not sure why.”

That’s enough to start a conversation.

  2. A second pair of eyes

    Step 2: I take a look

I look at what you’ve shared, ask questions where needed and offer my initial thoughts. I’m happy to help you think it through. There’s no obligation to go further after this first assessment.

You might need a repair, some advice or help with one awkward part of your website. Getting in touch doesn’t mean signing up for a new one.

    Initial assessment · No obligation

Sometimes a small fix is all it takes.

I start with what you already have.

  3. Agree on the next step

    Step 3: We align

If you’d like my help with the work, we decide what to tackle first. We talk through the scope, priorities, timing and costs before I get started.

That might mean fixing one contact form, improving a few pages or planning something larger. If more investigation is needed, we agree on that too. There’s room to start small.

What needs doing? What can wait?

This is where we talk scope, timing and costs.

  4. Make it happen

Step 4: I get to work

I work on what we’ve agreed, keep you updated and ask for your input when it’s needed. If something changes what’s involved, we discuss it before taking on more.

I check the changes, explain what I’ve done and give you a chance to review them. I track my time and invoice periodically, as agreed. We can talk about any next steps when we get there.

One small step can get things moving.

And sometimes that’s all you need.
